Public Workshops, Trainings, and Retreats for Individual Registration

Professional Dangerousness (PD) is not a one-size-fits-all concept—it’s a complex and unfolding exploration that asks us to slow down, reflect deeply, and move with care to hold space for the discomfort. Understanding PD takes time and intention. We recognize that people come to this work at different depths and paces, so we offer a range of training options—meeting you where you are, while creating space to grow.

Whether you're just beginning to explore the concept of PD, needing a refresher, or ready to commit to deeper work within yourself and your systems, we’ve designed pathways that honor each point of entry. While a brief session can offer a powerful spark of awareness, we encourage anyone seeking comprehensive understanding and application to consider a fuller learning experience. Wherever you begin, we’re here to walk alongside you.

PD Snapshots

Duration: 3-Hour / Half-Day Training

Format: Lecture-style education with light discussion or reflection opportunities

These short-form sessions are intended to introduce the core concept of Professional Dangerousness, helping participants to gain foundational awareness of this topic and how it shows up in practice.

This training is ideal for those seeking a high-level understanding of PD or as a starting point to decide whether deeper exploration is right for them.

1-Day Workshops

Duration: 5 Hr Training (includes lunch and refreshments)

Format: A dynamic blend of education, small and large group dialogue, and individual reflective practice

This immersive, single-day experience is designed for those ready to more deeply explore Professional Dangerousness within their own work and practice. Participants engage with real-world examples and collective dialogue to examine how PD may surface—not only in individual approaches, but in workplace culture and across larger systems.

These workshops begin with deeper explorations and understandings of PD’s origins and dynamics, then gently shifts into identifying opportunities to interrupt its effects through cultivating awareness, reflection and nurturing the areas of Self+.

While some attention is given to PD’s impact at the team and systems level, this session is primarily designed to support individual learning and growth. Those interested in a more collective or strategic application may find the 2-day retreat to be a meaningful next step.

2-Day Retreats

Duration:

Day 1: 5-Hour Session (includes lunch and refreshments)

Day 2: 3-Hour Session (light refreshments provided)

Format: Extended, immersive experience with education, guided reflection, small/large group process, and applied practice

This extended retreat offers space to explore Professional Dangerousness in both personal and collective contexts, while allowing time to slow down and engage more fully with the complexity of the work.

The retreat begins with the foundations—building awareness of PD, naming patterns, and nurturing the individual’s relationship to their own helping identity. From there, the focus expands to explore how PD operates in teams, decision-making, and systems—opening opportunities for dialogue, strategy, and shared learning.

This space is both reflective and strategic, with room to slow down, be in community, and engage more fully with the complexity and call of this work.

Ideal for: Leadership teams, program developers, changemakers, and individuals in key decision-making roles ready to invest in sustainable transformation.

This experience is ideal for those in leadership, program development, or change-oriented roles—individuals seeking not only to reflect but to build capacity for disrupting harmful patterns and nurturing healthier professional ecosystems.
